Each Member of O.S.T. is as a Sacred Priest or Priestess unto themselves, and is responsible for the dedication of their energies to the Higher Call of Humanities, Self-Knowledge, Self-Development, and Self-Discovery of their Individual Existence as well as the Conditions of Life and Liberty that affect the Whole of Mankind.

One Goal of Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi is to bring each person into the Spirit of Sacredness through Unity of the Collective Qualities which comprise Our Being and Race, thus Uniting the Higher Genius (Holy Guardian Angel) as well as the Animus Mundi (World Soul) within the Consciousness of every Man and Woman.

Continuing to bring about through Self-Reflection and Contemplation as well as through Direct Action towards a Continual Gradual Developing of the Attributes of our Interconnected and Wholistic; Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul. This Gradual Evolution which has been recorded and imprinted in our Genetical Makeup through DNA Encoding as well as through the Collective Experience of Mankind stored in the Collective Unconscious of Man is believed to be able to be directed through the ‘Chiah’ or ‘Will’ of Man in Accord with His/Her Higher Genius.

Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi affirms that Mankind can direct this Primeval Force inherent and dormant within Him/Her Self to aid each Individual in order to “Bring About Change of Consciousness and Awareness of the Individual,” as well as “To Cause Change To Occur In Ones Environment or Condition In Life,” this Ability comes through Focusing and Directing ones ‘Will’ and Understanding the Nature of Ones Thoughts, Words and Actions as being the very Catalyst that shapes the Future Consciousness of the Individual. Thus to Act in an Active and Purposeful Manner in all our affairs, and to use Knowledge of the Self, of Humanity and of the Environment as Tools toward the fulfillment of Our Chosen Destiny, this is a Prime Factor in Self-Realization and Self-Actualization.

In the Conscious pursuit of Self-Realization and Self-Discovery the Individual of necessity uses the Objective Realm of “Others” to Encounter the Reflection of The Pure Subject of the Self from OP-Position of the “Other” in determining the Individuals Own Nature.

For this Interrelationship to Occur the Pure Subject must provide Itself with the Means of Communication with the Object, the necessary milieu of contact. In this instance the Pure Subject (The Self) is a kind of Radiation of Liberty encountering an Opposition which causes a Proper kind of Reflection, the Liberty must express itself as Finite within Suitable Limits which makes for Meaningful Contact with the “Other” which lies at the Limit. Thus, far from being an hindrance an Enigmatic Burden Bourne by the Soul (as it was construed by inadequate idealisms that never probed into the Finality of Intelligence), the Body is the very Concretization of the Liberty of the World.

In the Spirit of Self-Knowledge, Self-Discovery and in Discerning Ones True Will in Life, O.S.T. Priests and Priestesses are encouraged to collect various Sources of Inspirational Knowledge which has an Current of Educational as well as Developmental Capacity to Instruct the Member in attaining a General Overview of His/Her Own Conditions, Interests and Potentials, as well as Fostering Within the Seeker a World View where Humanities Interconnectedness and Interrelated Symbiosis is brought into the Awareness of Every Day Consciousness. Whether Sources on the Evolution of Mankind and Mans History or Myth, to the Psychological and Spiritually Inspiring Texts, every Priest or Priestess will be interested to some degree in Texts they consider as having helped shape Mankind’s Understanding of Himself as well as the World in Which We Live.

Sources of Texts from Archival Timelines, History, Ethics, Humanities, Arts, Archaeology, Social Sciences, Religion, Mathematics, Language Studies, Botany, Zoology, Biology, as well as Cosmology and Astronomy and Various Other Texts, Documents, and Documentaries are only a few of the multitudes of Source Subjects and Topics to be Researched and Studied by Members. There are no limitations on the Sources of Inspiration, each Member will and should have some Form of Knowledgeable Instruction regardless of the Source, whether through Self-Study of Books, Workshops, or Study Courses through an Academy, of Course Practical Experience of these Subjects should be of Prime Importance, since the Actual Living of Ones Life and Will is seen as more Conducive to Growth than merely Theorizing about the Meaning of Life.

The Study of Humanities and of Learning concerned with the Human Collective Culture, especially Literature, History, Art, Music and Philosophy is deemed of great import due to the belief that these Knowledge Systems Cultivated, and Yea, still do Cultivate the Mainstream of Culture with Learning, and Achievement and is aimed at the Expression of the Collective Peoples from the “Dawn of Man” through the countless Epochs and Generations, and still has a Major Influence in Modern Thought and Expression. Surely the strides in Modern Life have been Wrought by the Toil of Those in The Past, Thus We Build as Builders of Architecture upon the Foundations of Those Who Came Before Us.

The Religio-Spiritual Currents of Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi allows each Priest or Priestess and All Members to Choose their Mode and Method of their Worship, Devotion and their Choice of Belief concerning their Inner Accepted Convictions of Religion and Spirituality. Whether Deistic, Theistic, Naturalistic, Paganistic, Monotheistic, Polytheistic, or Pantheistic, the Various and Differing Approaches are Understood to be “Of A Personal Nature to The Adherent”, and Therefore are Accepted as Meaningful Expressions in That Light and Understanding.

Some explanation is necessary why Occultism and Mysticism are included among the Beliefs or Currents of Persons on Religio-Spiritual Paths of Knowledge. The Occultist Observes Phenomena and Patterns that have a ‘Concealed’, ‘Secret’, or ‘Hidden’ Nature not directly known to Modern Science. Factors of both the Occultist and the Mystic are:
‘Hidden’, ‘Secret’, or ‘Concealed for the Occultist,' and ‘Close the Eyes,’ or ‘Close the Lips-Symbolic for Hidden or Secret Esoteric Teachings,’ concerning the Mystic Initiation. Occultism uses Magickal Formula, Observation, Ritual, Rite and Ceremony in their Methodology, while Mystics use Contemplation, Meditation, Yogic Asana, and Ecstasy through Self-Surrender to the Absolute in theirs.

While Self-Surrender to a Source Outside of Oneself is held to be a giving away of Ones Will and Thus Identity. With the True Mystic, it should be understood that the Self-Surrender is unto The Spiritual Nature of The Higher True Self (Yechidah) and thus Identifies Itself with the Self as a Whole or the Absolute Consciousness shared to some degree by All Humanity and Life.
