Ostara in Brief

* is a time of great fertility, new growth, and newborn animals.

* is sacred to Eostre the Saxon Lunar Goddess of fertility (from whence we get the word oestrogen), whose two symbols were the egg and the rabbit, both considered fertility symbols.

* Flowers should be laid on the altar, placed around the circle and strewn on the ground.

* As a Full Moon Festival it is a time of increased Births

* It is a powerful time to plant a new garden.

What to Bring

Each Child Needs to bring:

A Piece of fruit to share for morning Tea

Their own Lunch of Sandwiches and healthy snack

A Hat, Sunscreen and a Jacket

A Pillow for Meditation

And Wear appropriate clothing and shoes
