MiC [Michael
Lee-Price] is a qualified Graphic Designer, Children's Book Illustrator,
Press Artist and Cartoonist who originally learnt his trade working
for News Corp.
MiC is also a Web Page Designer
who can create web pages that contain information in the form
of text and graphics to serve any communicative purpose, also
knowledge of the conventions and etiquette of the World Wide Web;
including; download time/bandwidth, content driven pages, and
graphics versus text. Proficient in Hyper Text Markup Language
(HTML) creating and editing hypertext; 2.0, 3.0 and other extensions,
e.g., tables, frames, server-push/client-pull, server side includes,
etc., as well as an appreciation for browser compatibility issues.
Strong knowledge of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) scripting typically
including (but not necessarily limited to) Java Script, Perl,
C, CSS, XML, DTML and UNIX shell scripts Have an advanced knowledge
of graphics design applications and techniques (e.g. PSP5/6/7
Illustrator, Flash3/4/5, Freehand, Photoshop, Fractal Painter,
and 3D modeling). UNIX and Personal Computer (Microsoft Windows)
and awareness of TCP/IP and Networking (e.g., service ports, name
servers, e-mail, USENET, HTTP, FTP, etc.).
Proficient in Ventura Desktop, Publication, Corel Draw, Quark, Photoshop,
Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro, Flash, Illustrator, Freehand, Page
Maker, Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 97 and 95, Microsoft Word, Works,
WordPerfect 7, and numerous other programs.
The
Mystic Grove is extremely Social and Community minded and are
always prepared to offer its services to small community groups.
